it was an unexpected ending.the author set the story on a summer afternoon because people need to sleep at night which if it is at night,they will be tired thus making it in the summer afternoon.My rating for this is 9

It was an unexpected ending.It took 2 hours to complete the lottery thus choosing it to be in the summer afternoon allowing them to eat dinner.i rate 9/10

ReplyDeleteI did not expect the ending to be as written in the story.The author feels that readers will prefer a afternoon story as the story will written longer if it is drag to the next day.I feel that this essay is rather interesting .However if too much descriptive words are used,it will not be that interesting.Charlene

3.I would rate this story 7/10 as the 3marks I deducted was about the story.I think the story was too long and readers tend to be bored and uninterested to read on.

ReplyDeleteAs the story was making no sense at the beginning. It took me twice to read n understand the whole passage. But it was written perfectly fine. And the story was extremely long.. so i would prefer a catching starting, and the middle as i also felt like quit reading the whole passage... So i will prefer a shorter passage to read.....:P:P
